9/11 theories tend to be of this sort. People call themselves “skeptics”, but this is meaningless if they don’t actually do any of the research that is required of being skeptical. You have to have a reason to dispute a claim. You can’t just go with your gut. I wanted to recommend a couple of people that take different approaches to skepticism (one just recently), and another who has a myriad of great videos about BS finding its way into common bar talk.

The first is more of a POE (Click here for Poe’s Law), that has just recently started mockign Truthers for fun. This would be the great EdwardCurrent.

Ed is so convincing to some it appears that they actually believe him to be a man of God. While most can tell he is not, it is amusing to see just how many do think he is. The skeptic side seems to be a new thing and he is coming clean a bit with his trolling. Now just outright mocking all the non-logical believers in the absurd. He looks like a Travel Agent Jobs type to me for some reason.

The next guy I find to be much more of a pro. He isn’t just out there mocking, but doing the research to back up his claims. A well-versed reporter for his entire career, he shows you how to be a REAL skeptic. Not just one that takes anything outlandish they hear and spread it around as fact.

I am speaking of potholer54. He spends time on climate change, scientific lies being perpetrated by lack of research, and mocks a few that he considers outright liars. This guy isn’t the typical skeptic. He is very good at research and he is quite comical with his dry humor on top of his relentless research. He also spends some time sharing with you how to research all this nonsense you hear yourself, which is quite simple. Highly entertaining.

While it is incredible that this guy hasn’t found more success over the years, he does have some pretty awesome videos floating around doing some pretty amazing things. A recent video popped up this week in which he sings and plays guitar with his voice of the legendary Led Zepplin. I also tossed in a Jimi Hendrix impersonation too which is crazy as well. (NOTE: The National Anthem part is EXACTLY the way Hendrix played it. It’s not him screwing up.)

So I pretty much pay attention to these teams and watch most games for the NFL and even baseball. Forgazi produces a serious of videos that are based on some innocent Michigan promo videos that are “Pure Michigan”. These videos talk about the lakes, certain attractions, steel buildings, etc. to promote tourism. Forgazi on the other hand…makes them all into a joke among other videos like mocking Lebron James.

If you follow the Tigers you know them both, and you know all about Rod Allen chasing a Japanese pitcher around the field when he was in Japan trying to make him need a heated mattress pads. Here are a few funny videos of our dynamic duo.

Better than Rick:

It is “I’m a Stupid Cat!”. Nothing better than animal videos obviously, but cats seem to win the award for best animal videos. This one in particular is exactly what cats are thinking when we are serving them. Get some grad gifts full of cats.

Remember the girl sitting in the backseat of the car with braces in the Friday video? That was Benni Cinkle. Many found her to be rather laid back and cool in the aftermath of all the hate by making fun of herself and taking it all in stride.

Then this past week she got in on the action herself. She has released a new video using the same technique of auto-tune and well…I need not say more.

Eventually after a bit of searching on not just Youtube, but Google I came to figure out that the actual song was called Ieva’s Polka, and that it had become some random sensation where it would be remixed hundreds of times. The Wiki article is pretty interesting on the history of its popularity.

While I know I could just steal the audio from the Youtube video I saw in the comments that some dude named Beatnick was the one that made this version. After a bit of searching around I found the website here and was able to download it, but not before he gave me a pop up that described how he made the song and the history of it being stolen from him and claimed by another. Interesting little internet history I must say. Now I have it on my iPod for my in ear headphones listening pleasure.

Kid’s React is a pretty hilarious series. It’s actually one of many that a pretty funny group does called the Fine Brothers (Check out the Saved By the Bell Game it’s phenomenal. Better than any Nintendo Wii game you can find). Kid’s react basically has a bunch of kids from 6-14 watching some of the most popular Youtube videos ever and then like only kids can do as Bill Cosby demonstrated with Kids Say the Darndest Things make you laugh.

Another one that is actually a bit more serious, and probably more important is one called WhyEvolutionIsTrue. The channel shows all kinds of great videos on evolution. Maybe the most interesting are the ones of the show Inside Nature’s Giants. These are animal autopsies on the biggest animals on Earth like giant squids, giraffes, elephants, etc. It’s mind=blown level fascinating. Good for conversation starters to make you sound real smart too.

I mentioned her before in the girls can troll too, but if you ahven’t subbed her and like really bizarre stuff that is clever and funny hartmanncara is hilarious. She is a “performance artist”, but really she’s just a troll.

Unfortunately, like the true dumbass this person is, they are censoring their comments and are filtering out all the obvious hateful replies they are getting. Easily concluded by seeing the huge number of dislikes on the video compared to very few likes.

The woman even goes as far as saying that they are not trying to make any money off of this, yet have COPYRIGHTED the video already and I’m sure blowing up barcode scanner at their local shops in expectation of being the recipient of a windfall.

The most annoying thing about this video, besides all of it, is that the woman now tries to act like she cares about how some of these animals are treated while having absolutely no idea what she is even complaining about. A horse got dizzy and collapsed. If you saw the weight that the family was putting into the carriage they were riding you would not ponder why.

So she is concerned for these animals, starts yelling at the guys who run the carriages, yet SHE WAS THE ONE RIDING IN THE CARRIAGE. Then she proceeds to act like the horse is going to explode and runs away like it is a time bomb screaming like a hysterical psychopath. This woman deserves all your scorn friends.

While I posted a while back about Arguments for Noah’s Ark Being Real to show just how much you have to suspend logic to believe, there are better arguments.
