I’m the biggest bandwagon TV fan there ever was. I wait until any show announces the final season and then I marathon the whole thing so that I can pretend I’m a fan. This is what the cool kids do. They don’t wait 9 years to see how it goes down. They wait until they can see the end without having to wait more than a few months. I did this for Lost, and I sure as hell did it for Smallville. Only show I actually stay current with is Dexter. Everything else I listen to people talk about and nod my head and smile. Then the last season I roll up like I’m a “serious fan”.

Anyways, since I just got done with Smallville I think this fight was the highlight of the entire series even if whatever that episode was about was ridiculous. Nothing better than seeing Lana roundhouse kick Chloe in the face with her ugg boots to knock her down the stairs. Of course there are 12 posts of it around the net and not one of them bastards will let you embed it.

It has become more popular than a Forex mentoring program The best mainstream song I have seen of Double Rainbows was by Jimmy Fallon, as Neil Diamond on Saturday Night Live a couple weeks ago. Unfortunately this is the best video I could get of it since it gets depleted anytime it gets popular.

By far the most idiotic, and probably the most childish though is this one. I’m sure you can guess just by looking at the still image at the start of the video why, and then you will laugh at the absurdity.

Just saw a pretty awesome remix of the double rainbow guy posted this week and figured I may as well show the original some love too. The song is awesome even if you have never seen the Double Rainbow OMG video first, but to have the full context you May as well.

Some guy is whacked out on shrooms, or something and is camping out when he sees the glorious DOUBLE RAINBOW FULL ON ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE SKY. HE then feels the need to start crying from the intensity. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN!? IT’S SO BRIGHT! OMG IT’S SO BRIGHT AND VIVID. IT’S SO BEAUTIFUL.

EDIT: I see a TON of people wanting this song in .mp3 format in the comments on Youtube so I figured I’d give you guys an easy way to pull audio from Youtube videos.

I just did it with this song and it was quite easy. Just go to FLV2Mp3.com and post the link of whatever Youtube video you want to rip the audio from and it will walk you through the rest. You will need an e-mail address to get the file, but just make a new one in Yahoo! Mail or something just for the file.

Basically, this is how you rip audio from Youtube videos. It’s called FLV to .mp3 is what you are doing. There may be a program to download out there you can use, but the one everyone used to use Tubetilla isn’t free anymore that I can find. All you can do is rip the video, but not convert it to .mp3. IF anyone knows of one let me know. That site is pretty great anyways so no need really.

Now the hard part, but not too bad. This video has some annoying talking at the end so you are going to probably want to edit the .mp3 file somehow to cut that talking out. Yuou are going to need two more downloads to do this. (THIS IS JUST FOR EDITING. YOU DON’T NEED TO DO THIS.)

First you will want to go download Audacity here. This is a free mp3 and audio editor. Read the tutorials to see how to do it. I never used it before and it took me only about 10 minutes to figure it out.

Then when you are done you need to save it as an .mp3, but the first time they will say you need the LAME .mp3 Encoder to do it. Just go read this here for the info on that, but you do NEED this if you want to edit and save the .mp3 files because Audacity doesn’t encode them as .mp3s with their software alone.

Then you are good to go. Just drag it into your .mp3 player and you have yourself some Youtube audio.

Of course it matters not to me that I am late. I laughed out loud for 10 minutes the other day watching these videos several times and reading the comments that accompany them. This is a true internet fad classic right here. It wins in every single way.

The set up here is that some local news channel is doing one of those local celebration stories that are always laughable. You know the ones where a reporter goes out and finds the man on the street interview to talk about how they are having fun at the festivities. Art shows, music, flea markets selling stuff from hydroxycut hardcore x reviews, and other stuff like carnivals.

This kid just likes turtles.

You feel sorry for the first dog as you see him drooling hardcore wanting to eat the food. Of course he wins in the end and gets a feast, but it looks like he is gonna cry for real for a bit.

The big winner is you though. Not only do you get to see animals with food stacked on them, but you see a monkey wearing a Gumby t-shirt! Not dressed up in some sort of Gumby Halloween costume unfortunately, but it works. That’s right a monkey wearing a Gumby t-shirt while someone stacks bananas on/around him.

Well…I thought I was going to find it funny because I thought the dude was going to be Gilbert Godfrey. For real. It was some other guy, but I’ll give him his day for making the right move and exploiting child endangerment for the almighty Youtube Views meter. This kid will be needing to earn a degree online because he is gonna be in a bed by 13. Not like this dude getting a lot of ass. Well…not this dude. The 2-year old smoking baby.

Dogs on the other hand are treated like they are the chosen pet of men like Hitler and Stalin. People are more likley to look at eczema pictures than they are of a dog.

Well…after the episode Across the Sea this week, people have gone into seizures about how they hate it. They have just taken out every frustration they have ever had while watching the show and went off. The internet and LOST is a virtual war of whiners this week. Of course, when people can’t control themselves you get to see some funny stuff so I plucked a couple funny things out that made me laugh from the week so far.

This first one is from a person on the forums at DarkUFO (This site is like LOST central with future spoilers, and rabid fans who want to see the damn OUTRIGGER SCENE@ OMG I WILL KILL MYSELF IF I DON’T KNOW WHO WAS SHOOTING AT THEM IN THE OUTRIGGER IT IZ SO IMPORTANT TO EVERYTHING IN EXISTENCE. ehem…sorry about that.):

My experience with LOST goes something like this….

LOST: So there’s this Island, and it’s special, see. Time travel, polar bears, whispers, smoke monsters…

LOST: Who? Alvar what-now? Nah, look, i’ve just been messing with you. Let’s cut to the chase, time is running out. It’s all about Jacob and his brother, Smokey. They are immortal! They play an epic game! There are rules, candidates, loopholes! Everything that has happened so far is because of them! Jacob and Smokey!

ME: Great! Let’s learn about them!

LOST: Well… Jacob is just doing what his mother told him to do. He doesn’t know why, really. His mother’s dead. Smokey wants to leave the Island. That’s about it.

ME: That’s it?
