You may have actually heard of this show. If I am not mistaken it is the most listened to AM talk show at night in the world. I’m not looking this up of course, but I assume it is since every single night you can find it on about 2/3 of the AM stations flipping through the dial.

Funny thing is that I find this stuff entertaining, but probably not i the way it is intended. This show covers all the nutjob topics. 9/11 conspiracies, NWO, Illuminati, FAKE moon landing, aliens, ghosts, demons, chemtrails, global warming conspiracy, and I could go on and on. If you can think of something nutjobs blindly believe while not looking for any real evidence at all this is the show.

I once joined the website so I could get streaming archives of the show since they actually had some real science stuff on for a while that I wanted to hear. This allowed me access to some private message board for other subscribers of the show. Let’s just say that depression, and schizophrenia were the most common characteristics of the people posting there. Having custom name plates with something like “Truth Seeker” isn’t uncommon when in reality they don’t look for the truth at all.

IF you have never thought about the type of people that truly believe this nonsense you may not really know what I mean. You have to be a certain kind of person to believe this stuff, but more importantly you have to have some other mental issues that drives you to want to believe it. It may not be the exact same as religious following,b ut it certainly shares some of the characteristics. Much more the dark ones, however since religion can actually be a “happy” thing for many people. Wanting these whacko conspiracies to be true and to believe them without any evidence tends to comes with some sort of depression, or extreme anger issues. These people are VERY hard to troll actually now that I think of it since they literally believe everything.

You know you have met someone that is into this stuff seriously when arguments in a debate consist of phrases such as these:

1. “Open your eyes!”
2. “Wake up, man!”
3. “They don’t want you to know!”

and many of the same ilk you know that the person you are debating with has no concept of what a debate actually is, nor that you need to provide evidence when you make a claim. Evidence that can be tested and proved to be claimed as “Facts” like many nutjobs like to do. It’s the same as arguing about religious stories and existence obviously.

Anyways, this is a long-winded post that will end with me linking you to a Youtube channel which has years of the show archived here and to KFI.com which plays the show every night and is available online rather than an actual radio. This is so you can either become the crazy, or laugh at it.

Spending any amount of time on major websites like Youtube, IMDb.com, Twitter, etc. you come to realize one major theme. Everyone hates the United States of America if they aren’t from there.

It is most apparent when you see some ridiculous and crazy crime. A stupid person getting caught and the story of the cover up being so pathetic that it will always get a “Stupid Americans”, or “Typical American idiot” reaction from some posters.

The best thing about this though is that they pretend that words like “typical” and pluralizing the word as “Americans” doesn’t REALLY mean MOST Americans when called out on it. They backtrack and say something moronic, but if they have any intelligence will still get a few digs in during their clearing it up. IF they can’t handle being questioned they will just start calling all Americans fat, and that we kill babies. ALL of us.

Another thing that really annoys people living outside AMERICA is that we call it AMERICA. Many a times I see a huffy response directed at someone who does like “you think you are the only America in the world?” like they didn’t just call all Americans stupid, or fat.

Of course eventually they will claim that they have been to America and liked it, but they still can’t comprehend the difference between comparing what is on he news and what they observed. So you are left with the fact that they are liars, and tell them to go away, or continue on with the meaningless argument. pool lifts

It’s an odd form of trolling I guess, but it is so prevalent that it is almost considered a cultural thing for the World vs. USA. They want to destroy their sports teams in sports Americans don’t even care about. A sport called soccer in America and football everywhere else. They call our football American Football and say it sucks no matter what even though it is one of the most watched sports around the world.

Not sure why I have never posted about this before, but until I made another post that referenced it I didn’t realize I hadn’t. So…what the hell is Poe’s Law?

From a trolling perspective it is one of the most difficult to recognize. Not for everyone, but there are quite a few people that can’t pick up on this kind of parody. Well…if you spend enough time online you probably already realize that a significant portion of the morons that watch and read stories of this nature can’t tell if it is real. Satire and parody for many is just as foreign as another language it appears online.

Anyways, Poe’s Law states (From RationalWiki):

“Without a winking smiley or other blatant display of humor, it is impossible to create a parody of Fundamentalism that SOMEONE won’t mistake for the real thing.”

Again, according to RationalWiki, Poe’s Law was originally formulated by Nathan Poe in August 2005. The law emerged at the Creation & Evolution forum on the website Christianforums.com. Like most such places, it had seen a large number of creationist parody postings and these parody posts were usually followed by at least one user starting a flame war (a series of angry and offensive personal attacks) thinking it was a real post. Nathan Poe summarized this pattern in his original formulation of the law mentioned above.

While that is an apt definition, I have already stated that people can’t even tell what satire is most of the time, so this definition may be a little loose, and not really describe this as well as it could.

This “Law” is almost exclusively related to religious fundamentalism, although it has expanded since that original statement was made. Taking on any maniacal fundamentalism.

So the recent post I made has a girl that whipped out her camcorders at the bottom shoeing a perfect demonstration of Poe’s Law.

For even more in depth examples of this check here. If you are bored and want to see some people that have taken it to another level just go visit the Landover Baptist Church forums and read.

The internet is a hotbed of atheists arguing with Christians. Sometimes they argue with Muslims, but most of the atheists online tend to stick with Christians since they know more about it living in the Western World. One of the most absurd Bible stories is truly Noah’s Ark.

From a scientific point of view Noah’s Ark makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Of course that doesn’t stop Christians from claiming to have found the ancient ark, or arguing that it was in fact a real event. I’ve even heard the term Noachian Flood, which I suppose is supposed to sound scientific. Just as scientific as aecg machines I imagine.

Nothing is more laughable than seeing arguments like this though as arguments. Here’s a taste:

Point out that to get two of each kind of animal from every part of the world may not be so unbelievable because of the size of the world at the time. The theory of Pangaea (which basically states that the continents were all connected forming one big “supercontinent”) is probably true. Before Noah’s flood, all of the land masses on earth were all joined to form one continent. This would eliminate the idea that animals would have to cross oceans to reach the ark.

Think you have something insightful, or interesting to say about a Youtube video? Don’t bother. People don’t care. Repetition is the key to Youtube comment fame as long as you are early. That and spamming the hell out of the like button. That’s right…the system is broken as all hell.

What makes for a high rated Youtube comment? Watching a video and then posting lines from the video word for word, but only after saying something like “I liked the part when he said…”, and this usually ends up being the funniest line in the video. (ie. I liked the part when he said I like Turtles”) This is by far the most liked kind of comment on Youtube. Every popular video will either be this or just a plain direct quote of a line from the video.

Ever notice videos where they have 300 likes and the comment isn’t one of these lines, while basically every other comment has no likes, or just a couple? Obviously nobody likes this comment that much.

I believe, and I have tested this before, that if you go to the “view all comments” page and just start pounding on the like button for a comment over and over and over, that Youtube actually counts it. I am not making this up. I have seen it countless times and even tried it from different locations just to see if it works. Obviously if you are on the same computer/IP address you may think it is just fooling you that it counted them all. I have done it at different locations and seen it show up at the other under a different account. Try it yourself and let me know how it works. “I like turdholes” on a video about double rainbows being the #1 comment isn’t possible otherwise. Might be possible on a video about say….dual diagnosis, but not Double Rainbows OMG SO INTENSE!

Other high quality comment like situations are out there, but that is #1 by far.

Another top one is “X# of people missed the like button because…”, or the variation of “X# people got ______ by whoever is in the video doing something awesome” implying that the people are idiots and the person doing the awesome did it to them so they are “u mad”. OR “X# of people are justin beiber/Twilight fans”

“Thumbs up if you are viewer number 657,000″ or any number if a video all of a sudden is broken and it doesn’t count views anymore appears.

“Thumbs up if you like this videoz!!1!!1″

“The best part was when it was over”

“Twilight sucks” is gold for dozens of thumbs up.

“Justing Bieber is gay” is good.

“Fake and gay”

By all accounts you must stay away from these 3 types of comments:

1. Love it. Check out my vids here: ht t p : / / ww w. y o utu b e.co m/ ineedtodie

2. Any comment that says you like to do porn, pose nude, etc. and you are ugly as hell.

3. Any variation of the chain letters (click here for list of them):

“Because you have opened this… you will get kissed on the nearest possible Friday by the love of your life… if you don’t break the chain. Tomorrow will be the best day of your life. However, if you don’t send this to at least 10 people by the stroke of midnight tonight you will be forever cursed in love. Just copy and paste this.. Good Luck!”

So…this is my “off the top of my head” list of comments I see on every video with over 50,000 views, as well as how to scam the comments theory I have. If you have more like “This is REAL music not like this Lil’ Wayne, 50 cent BS….” I would love to hear them. Happy commenting.

Below are highlights from this horror film. Complete with Harry Potter bashing! You don’t talk crap about Harry Potter and get away with it now do you? According to these guys the Bible tells us that Harry Potter would be PUT TO DEATH by the powers that be because he is a wizard.

IF you’ve seen this you know that the main woman who needs free weight loss programs is the scariest ghoul you are likely to run a crossed.

As an added bonus, a toddler shows us that they have been “touched by god in the music” at her indoctrination service.

This is less an informative post than it is a request. If you didn’t realize that trolling Facebook and Twitter pages was encouraged that is about all you will learn from this post. The request is that I am sorely lacking classic examples of trolling on these two forums.

Part of this is pure laziness on my part, but also my lack of saving examples of it when I do see it and get a good laugh. Just seems that when it pops up I am busy and just don’t have that few seconds to copy it down and save it somewhere for later archiving because I’m browsing wholesale appliances or pulling Ebay scams, or something.

So…this request is to share with me and others examples of this you have seen so we can all get some laughs and possibly ideas of future social media network trolling.

Many times on message boards you enter into a debate about something. This typically works best if you are an armchair GM for a sports team, but you can pretend you understand just about anything by using this diagram.

Every time the idiot GM of your favorite sports team makes a move it is crucial that you show how strongly you agree, which makes him correct, or how strongly you disagree, which makes him wrong. There is no better way than trying use a scientificy sounding term like “process”.

It really doesn’t matter if it makes any sense in the instance at all. It doesn’t matter if you just sell textbooks, and have never actually played the sport you pretend to be an expert about. All that matters is other people that are likely as dumb as you are think that it is clever. This is where the diagram comes in. Instead of typing out some long and fact filled post, you can just call your GM a “genius”, or and “idiot” and then post this diagram. At least half the other posters will think you are a good poster.

People on the internet are a lot of things. Racist obviously, conspiracy nuts as well, supporters of communism and socialism for the majority, and of course the internet is sexist. Certainly everyone can laugh at gems such as these:

“Wanna hear a joke?”
“Ok.”
“Women’s Rights…lolololololol”

OR

“Go make me a sammich.”

While not telling super models that they are 3./10 and that you have had better, or tellign them they need to find the best wrinkle cream for their 22 year-old faces, you should be looking for scientific proof.

Today, a man by the name of Boris Morukov, project director of some sort of 520 day fake Mars trip where 6 dudes are in isolation together, presented evidence of the clear inferiority of women. I will give you the full section from this article to see it in complete context. Is it out of place, or just plain necessary?

“HARDER FOR WOMEN IN ISOLATION”

Though over a thousand women applied for the venture — which dictates “astronauts” must be under 185cm (6ft 1in) — females are notably absent from the mission.

“It is harder for a woman to be taken out of life and put in isolation,” said Mars500 project director Boris Morukov.

“The most important thing here is motivation, and limitations would upset women. You’re not allowed to talk on a telephone,” he added.

The crewmembers said they would miss women terribly during the simulated trip but that the sacrifice was worth it.

“It will be hard but I just try to recall all the great travelers who found the New World and who were also without their families,” Sitev said.

Last year four Russians, one German and a Frenchman successfully completed a 105-day simulated space trip at the same institute.

IF you own a Playstation 3 you had to put up with some insanely stupid shit this past week. Apparently the internal clock (the one on a battery that runs 24/7) didn’t know that 2010 wasn’t a Leap Year.

So…all of us with a Fat PS3, the new Slim ones were fine, had our dates set to December 31, 1999! No big deal you say, and it really wasn’t THAT big a deal, but it had a few other problems while we waited for the clocks to flip over to March 2nd and fix itself.

This is where the real hilarity ensued for me anyways. First of all, EVERY game you tried to play on ApocolyPS3 day would delete all your trophies for that game. Just gone. So let’s say you just got a Platinum Trophy on the best game in forever Demon’s Souls you lost that bitch the second you started the game…

Of course when the clock flipped all was well for most people. Well…some. If you synced your trophies recently you got them all back, but if you didn’t, you are screwed. IF you did all you have to do is put the game in and lad them up and then re-sync with the server and the magically appear again in tact. If you didn’t sync them they are gone forever.

The RAGE people had over this the next day was just high comedy. PArents probalby wish they had taken out a bigger life insurance on the kid. Look at this fat asshole:

Especially for one game in particular that I noticed because it was the one I had been playing. Bioshock 2. You see like other idiot game developers such as say Rockstar and GTA IV, they added a bunch of ONLINE multi-player trophies for you to get if you wanted platinum. Dumbest shit ever since half the people online are just there to boost and get their damn trophies. Why Bioshock 2 is unique is that it has 4 trophies that rely solely on your online rank. You get 1 for Level 10, 20, 30, and 40.

You can guess what happened. People playing Bioshock 2 during the ApocolyPS3 lost all their trophies just like everyone else, but a few people could actually play online that day (some peopel couldn’t even play games OFFLINE that day). During that time they could level up and many passed one of those trophy levels and got them that day. Since they weren’t synced they might be Level 23, but they don’t have their Level 20 trophy anymore which means they are SCREWED. You can’t go back at this point. You can never get it again unless you sign in with another PSN ID, which means you have to get all the trophies again, and your precious Platinum won’t be on your account you always use.

Even if Sony is a bunch of douches, at least the makers of BS2 care a little bit, although they have no idea how to fix it. IF you have the problem read this thread on their forums and see if they ever come up with a solution .
