Remember when wrestling was actually awesome? Probably not if you are under 20. Before the epic failure began when the last generation of awesoeme from guys like The Undertaker faded away, there were the true Legends of Wrestling. The guys of the WWF that put mainstream wrestling on the map. Hulk Hogan teamed up with, or beat on guys like: Rowdy Roddy Piper, Andre the Giant, Big John Sutdd, Junk Yard Dog (JYD), Tito Santana, Hillbilly Jim, and the international connection of the Iron Shiek and Nikolai Volkoff.
When wrestling was all about comedy. Razorblades in the speedo for blood, throwing guys out of the ring onto office furniture, and before they just started to have people from the crowd wrassle.
The WWF wrestlers were so popular back then that they even had their own Saturday morning cartoon, led by the immortal Hulkster. Hulk Hogan’s Rock N’ Wrestling was amazing. Roddy Piper had the best running gag on the show IMO, by calling Tito Santana: Tito the Mosquito.
