THIS IS A MOD FOR PC. Thought I would make that clear before you asked….lol

Anyways, I know this is Old’d, but I still like it and I have been playing around with GTA: San Andreas again lately on my PC out of boredom, lack of motivation to jump on my fitness equipment, and lack of games I want to play. This is a MOD, in case I didn’t mention that. Sadly, GTA:SA for the PC lacks as many mods as I would have hoped for when I bought my 3rd copy of SA (PS2, XBox) a couple years back just for mods. That site has quite a few mods on it. I’m too lazy to look for a link, but there is a MASSIVE mod for this out there called “Things to do in San Andreas”. Just search on Google. It’s pretty complicated to set up so you probably want to find the forum for it.

I guess when you tell of one terrible TV sitcom it leads you to several others so i may as well just do this one now while I am thinking of it. Since Paul Reiser starred in My Two Dads it reminded me of this flaming pile: Mad About You.

I suppose some people actually liked this show. For some reason it won some awards. Mad About You won a Golden Globe Award, a Peabody Award, a Genesis Award, five Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Comedy Series, and was chosen Best Quality Comedy by the Viewers For Quality Television. Helen Hunt won the Prime=time Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress – Comedy Series four years in a row (1996–1999).

People do like Helen Hunt and it causes them to wish for an auto air conditioning when they see her, so it isn’t like there was nothing about the show to like. It still qualifies as Crap TV to me, however.

Mad About You is an American sitcom that aired on NBC from September 23, 1992, to May 24, 1999. The show starred Paul Reiser and Helen Hunt as a newly married couple in New York City. Reiser played Paul Buchman, a documentary film maker. Hunt played Jamie Stemple Buchman, a public relations specialist. Near the end of the show’s run, the couple had a baby daughter, whom they named Mabel. Laughs did not ensue.

Mad About You Intro

Well before there was accepted same sex shows on TV there was this rash of shows and movies where they put a couple guys in a house with a kid and tried to make it funny. It never was, and still isn’t. The first I can remember that went this route for prime time TV was this ridiculous show called My Two Dads.

The worst part of the show is that it starred one of the actors I hate the most: Paul Reiser. You know the guy that was in that other crap sitcom Mad About You with Helen Hunt.

My Two Dads is a sitcom that starred Staci Keanan (also, Step by Step, Paul Reiser and Greg Evigan (also BJ and the Bear and TekWar. It aired on NBC from 1987 to 1990 and was produced by Michael Jacobs Productions in association with TriStar Television later Columbia Pictures Television then Sony Pictures Television and distributed by TeleVentures.

I’m not even going to go into the “premise” of it. It’s self-explanatory: pure crap. You know the kinds of things this show had. Teenage girl going through pubery, having problems with weight and needing diet pills, or whatever lame story they could come up with.

My Two Dads Intro

The best word to describe this video is “Epic”. If you have ever watched the O’Reilly Factor w/ Bill O’Reilly, you know that the guy can come off as pretty arrogant. Many times the guy will say things you can hardly believe a person would even think, much less say to other people. HE likes to tell you that you are a “Pinhead”, or at least call you that if you don’t agree with him. He is not going to let you get away with a short answer, or an answer that is against his views in any way. If he can’t beat you he may just become childish and tell you to go out and look for the best fat burner to somehow belittle you.

To be fair he isn’t always obnoxious. He will bring on guests that don’t share his conservative views and give them a shot here and there. HE just won’t really let them ramble on about their views most of the time.

This video of Lil’ O’Reilly is satire people. Don’t take it seriously like some of the “pinheads” on Youtube seem to think it is.

Yeah…this happened a couple weeks ago, but since people seem so proud of her non-performance in the debate last night I feel like people need to be reminded of just how awful she was in this interview. Also, I never shy away from unintentional comedy. Usually some of the best.

Sarah Palin is trying to talk to “Joe Six-Pack” with the new “Folksy” speak in front of America to connect with people. I guess she wants to connect with people that are easily manipulated, and talk to us about kitchen table issues. Surely she is getting through to Joe Six-Pack and all those in need of acne products right? I mean only people that are that naive are going to fall for this right?
