This library of conspiracy theories has been on the boards since 9/12/2001. In fact it is so ingrained into society to this day that people actually believe most of them. Sure some things are a bit shady, and you could draw some conclusions about the whole tragedy, but most of these theories are so ridiculous you start to wonder what kind of meds some of these people forgot to take.
The most important thing to know about this conspiracy is that there are so many people involved in the cover up that you could simply say that you have been called upon to spread misinformation. Of course you pretty much are anyways with your crackpot accusations. Everyone in the government, the media, insurance companies, Wall Street, the terrorists, Saddam, Osama, the lunch lady, and even Corky from “Life Goes On” is in on the cover up. I’m not going to dissect all these hair-brained theories here, so if you want to read a decent account of the conspiracy check out Wiki.
Now don’t get me wrong. I’m open to suggestion and debate, but quit pulling random crap out of your ass from a Coast2CoastAM show and trying to pawn it off on me. Hell, I like Coast to Coast, but I realize that it is pretty much 90% fictitious and created solely for ratings. Just like the great Alex Jones and his videos of secret societies and propaganda videos. These guys are all great. I admire them really. They are born entertainers. They decided to use their gifts to prey on peoples’ emotions and make money off of it. 9/11 is a big money maker you know.
Anyways, I don’t know why I’m rambling on here. I just saw another 9/11 conversation on a board the other day and had to put something here about it because 9/11 debates always are the same. Just like the Atheist in most religious debates, the ones that believe the official story pretty much act like anyone who questions it is an idiot. Instead of “Logic” as a tagline, these guys just use the phrase “Common Sense” to show these crackpots that they really should seek some sort of professional help.

People that believe the government version of the events of that day simply haven’t looked at the facts.
So, you are pretty much just assuming that the whole United States Government and Media is somehow involved in the cover-up of the murder of millions of its own citizens on September 11, 2001. In addition, you think that the people who are seeking real solid answers to their important questions are just crackpots who need medical attention. Honestly, I disagree with your whole post because, what if you were the one with all of these unanswered questions, wouldn’t you want to know everything you could about the incident so you could somehow help the healing process.

Here’s the thing about the 9/11 Conspiracy theorists. A large portion of the info that they use as their claims is misinformation. They watch a fancy video on Youtube, or one by Alex Jones and take all that information as fact when in reality it is fabricated in a way that sounds like it “could” be true, but it isn’t backed up with any viable evidence.
I’ve looked at it all. I have carefully looked into the videos and the theories about missles, government planes seen in the area, controlled demolitions on the Towers, etc.. The problem is that none of it has any basis in fact. The vast maojority of these sites are done in a way that has so much information on it that it is simply information overload on people doing the research.
You could argue that the misinformation is a conspiracy in and of itself to hide the real facts. You can speculate that the government was benefitting greatly from the event and that they had a vested interest in the even itself. You could do that, but when you look at the entire picture and put all of it together you can’t possibly believe that it is a viable theory. This wopuld have to be the most intricate plan ever assembled and have so many people in on it that the probablility of all those things being true is greater than the probability of you, or I winning the lotto.
Research all day. Don’t get lost in it. The more you dig around the more you will get lost in it and lose your grip on reality. It can become an obsession for many, but there is just nothing out there that has the credibility to make this conspiracey theory stick.
It still annoys me that we will never find out the truth
The word “conspiracy” all by itself always colors the search for the truth.
Obviously, any government is capable of many things, and can cover it up. Maybe not on the scale of 9/11, but there certainly have and always will be covert actions by government that the general public gets bamboozled on.
Some folks will deny anything. Pure skeptics are some of the craziest people around. Remember…the earth was once flat, and bloodletting was the preferred medical regimen for most maladies.
