Internet. Serious Business.

When it comes to encounters discussed online there is always a sexual sort of connotation that can be drawn from almost any conversation involving one person and their encounter with another. They could be talking about how they went to the movies with their buddy, had to take their sister to school, just took a picture of their dog, or even that they hugged a tree. No matter how trivial the relationship between the poster and this other person, animal, or inanimate object, some weisenheimer on the board is going to make fun of them and that someone likes to say www.babynames.com. Why? They are implying that there is a sexual relationship here and that this person is in love with whatever object they are talking about.

Poster1: I just sat on my sister.

Poster 2: www.babynames.com

Poster 1: So I was at the store today and I just fell in love with the new iPod they had there.

Poster 2: www.babynames.com

Poster 1: I just shook Barack Obama’s hand!

Poster 2: www.babynames.com

Poster 1: I just saw my mom naked .

Poster 2: www.babynames.com

You get the idea. It doesn’t show up all the time, but if used correctly it is a good punchline when you have nothing else to post.
