The Religious Debate
It always happens on every board at some point. That discussion as to whether, or not there is a God. The Atheists, Agnostics, and Christians seem to be the only ones that really apply to these debates. Reason being is that Atheists and Agnostics typically don’t know anything about any other religion besides Christianity. They all read the Bible apparently and know more about it than Christians. They dissected it and took the words as literal meanings while the Christians take the words as something more symbolic. Stories if you will.
Most of the people that claim they are Atheists online tend to have no idea what an Atheist actually is. So basically you just call them Agnostic because they have no real bsis for believing there is no God, but simply hate religion and heard the term Atheist before and think it is cool.
The Christian poster tends to be pretty laid back and preachy for a while and really just wants to explain their beliefs while listening to the so-called Atheist bombard them saying they are idiots because they believe in magic. Online in a religious debate all Christians are considered to be inferior when in a discussion with an Atheist because the Atheist is obviously using “Logic” rather than something you cannot prove. There it is. The word “Logic”. The answer to literally any question posed to an Atheist online. The catch all for when they have no answer to a question.
This is what you post when this discussion begins:
Atheist: Can you prove there is a God?
Christian: No.
Atheist: Then why do you believe in God?
Christian: I just have faith.
Atheist: Bullshit.
Christian: Exactly.

Real Christians don’t “just have faith”. Real Christians use “logic”. Atheists just use strawman arguments when that happens.
It is rare you catch a good argument on religion online. Every once in a while you find a couple of good debaters with good points, but most of the time it is a couple that don’t even understand their own spiritual background and speak nonsense. Atheists tend to have a condescending attitude towards Christians too that I find rather amusing. Christinas that use logic in the arguments give them merit.
Looks like we got a bit of linkage on this one folks. Take a look at what Austin has to say about the whole thing as the Agnosticism / Atheism Expert at about.com.
Can we get a discussion about where the three wisemen were? I have some information that would interest your viewers!
Give me a link.
“…The man who knows the limitations of the human
mind, who gives the proper value to human testimony, is necessarily an Agnostic.
He gives up the hope of ascertaining first or final
causes, of comprehending the supernatural, or of conceiving of an
infinite personality. From out the words: Creator, Preserver, and
Providence, all meaning falls.”
- Robert Green Ingersoll 1889
